Presenting Methodology

I’m now onto my last blog ever for this module, everything is now done, and the video has been presented but I’m going to catch you up on how things went since the last blog. The last blog ended with me explaining what we left to do and since then we have been flat out working. What we done was we got all of the recording done which took a long time and a lot of attempts to get it right and even still after that there was a lot of editing to be done. We also recorded everything with aa mic on and we used garage band, so I had to export the files from garage band to bring them onto premier pro. Then from here we had to screen record the map but when screen recording, I had the story that we recorded playing so I could switch to each person on the map at the right time. When I brought the screen recording over to premier pro, I cropped out everything like the search bar and stuff so all that was left was the map itself. When all of this was done, I then had to bring over the sound track and lower the volume on that and higher the volume on the voice over the thing is all of that doesn’t take that long but it actually took a long time of working flat out.

Editing audio files:

So, when everything was done, we exported the file to an mp4 and uploaded it to Moodle after this there was only one thing left to do which was to wait until the lecture to watch the video and show our work. So, when we got to the lecture everyone had to grade each other’s videos and so that way Shaun would get everyone else’s view on the videos and not only his own. There were 25 videos to watch so there was lot of time of just watching and grading videos some videos were amazing, and I was really impressed. I personally think our video went really well and some people said to me that it was really good which I was really happy with.

I still haven’t received my grade on the video yet so all I can do now is hope for the best.

Well that’s my last blog for this module and I think it has been a great experience I will now go into semester 2 with a lot of confidence on how to use different tools, presenting and working in groups.

Nathan.
